Mini Kossel FSR Auto Leveling Setup Guide

What hardware that you need ?

Firmware :
Johann C. Rocholl Version

Assemble :
  • Solder FSR and 35cm long 2 pin cable , total 3 set
  • Solder 2x4 2.54 pin and PCB , and then make 2 pair , each pair 4 pin solder and connect together
Connection :
  • Connect 3 set of FSR to PCB
  • Connect 70cm 2pin cable to PCB , another end connect to Ramps T1 pin

Hardware Installation :
  1. Fastern your small PCB encloser on the extrusion
  2. Stick your FSR on the Glass Mount
  3. Stick a pad on the Glass
  4. Fasten the glass by the clipper
  5. Tidy up your cable by extrusion cover
Software Setup
  1. Download the firmware and put your settings in the configuration.h
By default , double check the following settings for FSR auto leveling.

#define DELTA_PROBABLE_RADIUS (DELTA_PRINTABLE_RADIUS*0.7)        // By default is 0.9 , but in my case , 0.9 will go outside or crash my glass clipper , so I set to 0.7
#define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 0.40                                   // Increase this if the first layer is too thin. Default is 0.1 , that is too thin for me , so I set to 0.4
  1. Complie the firmware and upload to the Mega 2560
  2. Once your upload the new firmware , the display on the LCD should have additional information show on upper right corner
